As Tour Manager, I am the bridge between internal departments and partners, responsible for confirming reservations and communicating to guides. I negotiate with hotel and restaurant partners to manage details for multiple departures in multiple states. Interpretation skills including landscape, physical, cultural and historical. I maintain internal and guest facing tour documents and information, communicate with guests, support the reservations and sales departments, the bike operations department and are the main point of contact for guides during a trip. On tour, I prepared and presented lunches and SAG stops for clients. I conducted financial transactions with tour vendors; restaurants, hotels etc. I drove SAG vehicle and maintained daily bike maintenance of client and fleet bikes. Rode sweep on bike routes. Educated guests on riding techniques and etiquette as well as culture.
