About Anna Stolk
I bring over eight years of experience supporting violence-prevention, rule-of-law, and criminal justice programs through USAID-funded initiatives in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, as well as within U.S. state government. My work has focused on translating policy, funding, and compliance requirements into effective, real-world programs, and I am especially interested in policy and program design that strengthens community safety and justice outcomes.Across global and state contexts, I have worked at the intersection of policy intent and implementation reality, supporting complex programs where funding structures, statutory requirements, and operational systems must align for impact. My experience includes overseeing multimillion-dollar grants and contracts, supporting institutional strengthening, and collaborating with government agencies, civil society, and community-based partners.I bring deep expertise in federal and state grant systems, compliance, financial oversight, and cross-functional coordination, and I am particularly drawn to work that improves how justice and violence-prevention policies are operationalized. I am motivated by questions such as how funding structures shape outcomes and how policy guidance can be clearer, more equitable, and easier to implement.Fluent in English and Spanish, I bring a global perspective and a collaborative, people-centered approach to problem-solving. I am especially interested in roles at the intersection of justice policy, program design, and systems improvement, where implementation experience can inform stronger public policy.
