About Anna Rez

I’m an Accounting student at Western Washington University with a passion for leadership, continuous learning, and helping others grow. As the current President of Beta Alpha Psi, I’ve led initiatives to connect students with professionals, strengthen our chapter’s community impact, and create meaningful opportunities for career development.This past summer, I completed a Real Estate Accounting internship at Costco’s Corporate Headquarters, where I gained hands-on experience in reconciliations, asset closeouts, and real-world accounting systems. That experience deepened my interest in the field and confirmed my goal of becoming a CPA. I’m now excited to continue growing through my upcoming Tax Internship with Baker Tilly this summer, where I’ll gain deeper insight into compliance, client service, and strategic tax planning.I’m motivated by collaboration, mentorship, and the idea that accounting is more than numbers, it’s about problem-solving, ethical decision-making, and making an impact that lasts. I aspire to work for a firm that values growth, integrity, and people, and I aim to bring that same mindset into every project and team I’m part of.
