ABOUT ANNA JOHNSTONE

I am a freelance editor offering an editing and proofreading service aimed at independent writers (domestic and international), students and small businesses. All of my services are offered on a self-employed basis. Last year I completed a BA (Honours) History degree through the Open University and am a member of the Editorial Freelancer\'s Association. Prior to leaving full-time education, I was awarded an A\' Level in English Literature. I also hold an LAO Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration. My previous employment is in sales administration where I gained a City and Guilds qualification in Construction and Electrical Materials Distribution. I have excellent spoken and written communication, good organisational skills, and an eye for detail. I am resilient, self-motivated and adaptable which means that should your project require adjustment, then I can be flexible. I am also continually working to improve my skills so that you get a better service which makes me an excellent choice for all your proofreading and editing needs. While I was studying and bringing up a family, I have been running the online fundraising site of Responsible Charity (volunteer basis). This is a secular non-profit NGO which provides education and family planning and health services to the people living in the slums of Pune and Kolkata on a volunteer basis.
