Departments include: Infant/Toddler, Big Girls and Boys, Juniors, and Ladies• Daily activities include- Communicate daily with overseas vendors to solve any inquiries or problems that arise- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile all necessary information to start a new season - Organize initial seasonal data for the production and sales teams to commence preliminary costing- Create costing charts that include previous seasons’ similar styles for current season comparison- Strategize with Design and Sales to approve seasonal fabrics that meet aesthetics and price points- Send and analyze vendors’ initial prices, and negotiate costs to maximize company margins- Create order summary charts once buys have been placed to consolidate all buy information- Input individual styles and costs into Blue Cherry to issue POs- Monitor T&A calendars and WIPs with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely deliveries- Create summary packaging charts for vendors to follow for all styles, and approve their care labels, hangtags, and packaging details- Supervise, support, and advise the Production Coordinator in their daily tasks and queries- Follow up with vendors’ factory, fabric, and product testing for goods to pass final inspection
