ABOUT ANNA NESBITT
I am a recent graduate of Wellesley College currently working as a Legal Analyst at HWG LLP in Washington, DC. I bring experience from the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Urban Institute, and more. Outside of work, my ongoing research examines post-Dobbs trends in protests outside of abortion clinics. I question how these protests impact clinic personnel, what \"safety\" means to those working at abortion clinics, and if abortion clinics could feasibly divest from the police and carcerality in a post-Dobbs environment. I have spent the past year conducting ethnographic fieldwork and 19+ semi-structured interviews at abortion clinics across Massachusetts. I am also using quantitative methods to investigate the spike in violence and disruption at abortion clinics in a co-authored research project with Wellesley College and the University of Wisconsin. Publications forthcoming!
