About Annalee Tai

Product lead, motivated by innovative climate risk solutions. I design and implement parametric flood insurance policies for large-scale flood risks, to help communities and economies rebound from flooding. Greek-Chinese, born and raised in New York City. I grew up along the East River and experienced the city-wide shut down from Hurricane Sandy. Since then, I\'ve been working on climate adaptation solutions for public sector clients.At Swiss Re, I structure and price nat cat parametric insurance for public entities, providing our clients with rapid, transparent, and predictable coverage in the event of a disaster.At Floodbase, I oversaw meso-macro flood insurance programs and led product development for flood monitoring and alerting systems, working with governments to streamline their flood risk transfer and reduction.
