BACKGROUND INFO: I am a driven, highly detail-oriented, overthinking and results-oriented manufacturing professional. I studied Mechanical Engineering Technology at RIT but have spent most of my career in Manufacturing.I enjoy working in smaller companies (under 250 ppl) so that I can have a larger impact and not just be seen as a number. I have had the great privileged of leading other people in several different disciplines and hope that I have had as much of an impact on them as they have had on me. CONSCIOUS POWER SOLUTIONS: Working at Conscious Power Solutions has afforded me the opportunity to be much more involved in how the company functions and who we want to be as an organization. As such, I have learned a great deal about areas that I previously had little to no experience with. I love working with our team and the culture that we have and are establishing. Seemingly too late in my career did I really learn how important the work culture is! We are passionate about manufacturing and being good stewards of conscious capitalism. We value ourselves, our team, our customers, our community, and the environment. We work hard, but also have a lot of fun together. I am excited about the future!WOMEN IN MANUFACTURING: I have reached a stage in my career where I am more interested in and passionate about engaging and supporting women in the Engineering/Manufacturing sectors. Women are still underrepresented in those areas, and I want to help break down some of those barriers that are preventing other women from coming into the Manufacturing environment and from not feeling like they belong. I hope to impart wisdom on younger women to have a voice, know their worth, and believe that their opinion matters.
