About Anna Isaacks
Hi, I’m Anna — a creative, systems-minded Product Designer focused on building accessible, adaptive experiences across design, emerging tech, and education. With 4+ years of experience leading design systems, UX strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across nonprofit, startup, and academic environments, I thrive in ambiguous problem spaces. I take a multidisciplinary approach—combining user-centered design, systems thinking, and inclusive research to deliver scalable, intentional solutions.Currently, I serve as Director of UX and Lead Product Designer at Dev Launchers, a global nonprofit supporting early-career technologists through hands-on project work. I lead the design system, contribute as a product owner, and guide strategy through systems thinking and accessibility advocacy. I’ve led cross-functional teams of designers, researchers, and engineers—shaping not just products, but the systems and people behind them.Previous experience includes- UX Research Assistant at St. Edward’s University, where I applied instructional and UX design principles to build a centralized methods library, align curriculum KPIs, and migrate 70+ brand assets into an accessible Figma system- Digital Services Product Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, where I improved accessibility workflows, supported product planning, and optimized content strategy through audits and research.I\'m passionate about adaptable design, accessibility, AI-human interaction, and instructional design. I’m especially interested in how personalization, inclusive systems, and unconventional computing can create new opportunities for connection, learning, and impact. Whether I’m mapping a design system or facilitating a strategy session, I’m focused on building solutions that are accessible, scalable, and meaningful.Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking with my two dogs, keeping up a 940+ day Duolingo streak (Korean & French), curating vision boards, crafting, building Spotify playlists, or planning travel with the precision of a UX audit. If you’re wondering how I got here: I began in hair design, where I fell in love with creating personalized, functional experiences through human connection. At Sassoon Academy in London, I became obsessed with form and structure—an interest that led to architecture, and ultimately to UX, where it all came together. I’m open to new opportunities in Product Design, UX Engineering, Instructional Design, or Product Management—especially roles focused on accessibility, emerging tech, and impact-driven systems.
