When I was little, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch an award winning, highly coveted trilogy: Kung Fu Panda. In Kung Fu Panda, the main character Po is named the \"Dragon Warrior,\" all by a stroke of luck. However, he is struck by a gust of reality: he is actually terrible at Kung Fu. Regardless, he perseveres, fights through challenge after challenge, and is STILL absolutely terrible at Kung Fu. It turns out, all he needed was a change of perspective. Food, something Po values, ends up being the very thing that helps him with training. Unlike Po, I am no \"Dragon Warrior.\" Rather, I am a senior at USC studying B.S. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and a Progressive Degree in M.S. Biopharmaceutical Marketing. Similarly to Po, I had my change of perspective fairly recently. I came into USC with a very strong interest in medicine. However, after joining DDS, the pre-dental honors society, my eyes were opened to a whole new field. It also continued to expand as I learned more about business through my consulting club. These are all fields that I find passion in and things I hope to incorporate in my future career. Of course, Po has interests outside of Kung Fu. He enjoys running a noodle shop with his father, competing to see how many pork buns he can fit in his mouth and so many more. I love to lift, swim, play piano, read and solve sudoku puzzles. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
