As a senior nursing student at Auburn University, my personal values are rooted in compassion, consistency, and pursuing excellence for myself. Auburn has given me the opportunity to advance my learning academically and grow personally and professionally by applying myself with patients through my clinical experience. As I continue my education and my time at Auburn, I will to continue to prepare myself so that I will be ready to make a positive impact and exemplify my personal values when I continue into the workforce. As a nurse, I believe it is vital to provide patient focused care that it driven by rapport, empathy, advocacy, efficient communication. Building relationships with patients provides trust, better outcomes, and emotional support. Additionally, I will value the importance of lifelong learning and a desire to continue to gain more knowledge and education. I am committed to constant growth that comes with clinical experience.
