ABOUT ANNABELLA ALOVATTI

I am a current university student studying Government, Policy and Society. I am interested in deepening my knowledge of policy, how it works and how to use it as a resource for social change and advancement. I enjoy learning new things and have the capacity to find a relationship on issues and topics within different areas. I have lived in different countries, such as Argentina and currently Scotland, and travelled to many others, which has helped me on my understanding of global and social relations.Apart from currently studying at university I have completed a year of college at Edinburgh College, gaining a HNC qualification on Social Sciences. And completed two high schools, simultaneously done from S3-S6. In presence in Scotland and the Argentinian highs school online. Having a set of qualifications and title of completion in both.I enjoy volunteering, having volunteered in high school in the MVP program, which main objective is that of bringing awareness of violence. And LEAPS (this last and following year), participating in high school lessons with kids of S3-S5 alongside other volunteers, with the objective of informing students on higher education and providing information or help as required.I have also been able to take on roles and participate in committees in High schools, college and University such as: the equality committee and being a prefect (HS), Course representative in college, Program representative of Y1 Social Policy at University and starting in the following year as the Women rep for the Green Party society at university and Activism officer in the Social policy society.The roles I\'ve taken as well as my work experiences have helped me develop different skills such as my language skills, I am fluent in Spanish and English, have a good level of spoken skills in Portuguese and an understanding of Italian. Social and communicational skills, research and critical thinking skills as well as flexibility, adaptability, time management skills and have good skills on Microsoft office. However I am keen on continue learning and improving my skills.
