About Annabel Brawn

I am passionate about the intersection of sports, analytics, and team development, with a growing background in recruiting, operations, research, and media. My experience has allowed me to explore how data, communication, and organizational strategy can come together to strengthen teams and elevate the fan experience.At the University of Virginia, I’ve contributed to the football program through roles in recruiting, operations, and equipment management. These positions sharpened my skills in organization, logistics, and relationship-building while giving me firsthand insight into the inner workings of a Division I athletics program. In addition, I’ve managed social media for student-led organizations, where I created content and strategies that built community and drove engagement.Beyond campus, I’ve expanded into sports media and research. As a Twitter Intern for Sports Girls Club, I helped grow a digital community that champions women in sports by creating engaging content and strengthening brand presence. As a Baseball Research Intern for Foul Territory, I analyzed statistics and trends to support discussions for a national baseball audience, honing my ability to turn data into meaningful insights. My earlier work with Resilience Education also gave me nonprofit experience, where I supported projects that use education to drive opportunity and equity.Across all of these experiences, I’ve developed a strong foundation in analytics, communication, and creative problem-solving. I thrive in dynamic environments that value collaboration and curiosity, and I’m motivated by opportunities to use data and storytelling to make sports more inclusive, engaging, and impactful.
