ABOUT ANNA WILSON

I’m a marketing consultant with over 22 years’ experience helping retailers turn data into decisions that actually drive growth.I started the first five years of my career client-side focusing on marketing execution. I then moved agency-side, which gave me the chance to work with multiple retail brands at the same time and see what really works (and what doesn’t). In both roles, I was part of the operational board and involved in the kind of decisions that directly impact revenue, customers and long-term growth.After around 15 years, I noticed a recurring problem: a disconnect between agency recommendations and the realities retail teams face day to day. So I set up on my own to bridge that gap — combining strategic thinking with practical, hands-on delivery.I’m particularly strong at turning complex spreadsheets and data into clear, actionable insight. I focus on helping retailers get more value from their existing customers, improve retention and loyalty, and acquire new customers in a way that makes commercial sense.I don’t just tell you what you should do — I help you do it. I work closely with in-house teams and external partners to make sure ideas are implemented properly and deliver measurable results. I genuinely care about the businesses I work with and am motivated by making a real difference.I also work closely with data agencies, email service providers and digital marketing partners. I help retailers get the most out of these relationships, and when needed, I support them in choosing new suppliers that are right for their business — because retail is never one-size-fits-all.
