I am culturally sensitive LGBTQ+ therapist with extensive training and experience working with complex trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, substance abuse, mood disorders, and anxiety. I offers support to first responders (firefighters, paramedics, police, etc.),and their loved ones, in which she addressed issues of trauma, stress, crisis response, relationships and the impact their job has on the family.My approach in therapy is through client centered theoretical approach from a biopsychosocial prospective. She creates an empathetic, supportive environment, focusing on the strengths and internal resources of the client, establishing common goals, thus empowering the client to make lasting changes.
