ABOUT ANNA UDI
I am a corporate executive with more than a decade of experience in business continuity, crisis management and operational resilience across multiple sectors, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology and Professional Services. As a strategic leader, mentor and advocate for innovative solutions, I strive to safeguard clients, mitigate risks, create efficiencies and drive sustainable growth. My career began with Transport for London in an internal-facing role as Business Continuity Manager. This experience led to my joining Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust as their Trust Resilience Manager. Notably, I directed the implementation of their Emergency Preparedness Resilience Response (EPRR) programme, promoting business continuity and guiding disaster recovery plans. I transitioned to Daisy Group in 2013, in my first externally facing consultancy role, where I delivered cross-sector projects, driving growth. I oversaw business continuity revenue streams, actioned process improvements and secured new client engagements. In 2016, I moved to Smith & Williamson as their Global Business Continuity Manager, in a broad remit, leading management delivery and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities. Critically, I created and embedded a robust resilience programme and launched the first full-scale simulation exercise. In 2017, I was approached and offered the role of Global Business Continuity Manager with Booking.com, based in Amsterdam. I relocated from London and directed a global team with full oversight of business continuity and crisis management, to include overhauling and augmenting incident management processes. I joined KPMG in the UK in 2019 as a Senior Manager for Organisational Resilience. I successfully delivered complex consulting engagements in the firm’s Cyber Resilience practice. In 2022, I submitted a business case for approval in creating an Operational Resilience function, which was successful, and I have operated as Acting Operational Resilience Director since then. I have built a reputation as a collaborative, respected and trusted leader, who diligently forecasts risks, identifies opportunities and robust, mitigating solution. I excel at building relationships, executing complex projects, transforming operations, and informing corporate strategies. I am passionate about the value created by Enterprise Resilience frameworks that offer clients financial, commercial, and operational resilience capability. I am interested in extending my professional network.
