About Anna Turner

I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a collateral in Business Analytics, graduating in December 2026. My passion for accounting started with my value and commitment to truth, transparency, and problem-solving, but at the core of my work is people. At the core of accounting is stewardship and responsibility: using financial knowledge to support sound decisions, build trust, and create long-term success for companies and their communities.On campus, I have had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Vice President of Recruitment for Zeta Tau Alpha, where I helped lead recruitment strategy, coordinate events, and create meaningful connections among members and potential new members. This role has strengthened my leadership, organization, and communication skills while reinforcing my commitment to service and community.Professionally, my experience in legal and sales-focused environments has shaped my ability to approach challenges analytically while working collaboratively with diverse teams. I enjoy taking complex information into clear, actionable insights and contributing to environments where collaboration and success matter. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue my CPA certification through a Master of Accountancy and am actively seeking an accounting internship for Summer 2026 where I can gain hands-on experience, continue learning from experienced professionals, and contribute to a mission-driven organization. I am always open and enthusiastic to conversations, mentorship, and opportunities aligned with my values and long-term career goals.
