I’m a senior editorial leader focused on ambitious, high-impact journalism, content that connects with audiences and gets people talking.I split my time between freelance projects and my role as an Executive Producer with CTVC, leading documentaries and series for the BBC World Service and beyond. I support commissioning and strategy, manage risk and budgets, and shape projects that deal with complex editorial themes.I’m the author of The Many Waves of Broadcasting, a new report for Broadcast Revolution due to be published this month. It explores how powerful broadcast moments ripple into wider culture - and what we can learn from them - bringing together insights from senior journalists and comms leaders across both industries.As I left the BBC in 2025, I was honoured with the Global Women in News Inspirational Leadership Award, recognising the way I build high-performing, creative teams around ambitious ideas.I spent over 20 years in BBC newsrooms, including 5 Live, the World Service and News Online. For nearly six years, I was Senior News Editor of BBC Radio 5 Live Drive, where I created some of the station’s most talked-about and awarded moments, including Tony Livesey’s on-air conversation with Martin Lewis about the loss of their mothers. I was Series Editor of Finding Britain’s Ghost Children, an investigative podcast that won multiple awards - including ARIAS Gold - and sparked national headlines and policy debate.
