I monitored macroeconomic data releases, central bank actions, and market-moving news to understand their impact across asset classes including equities, FX, rates, and credit.I assisted with preparing market commentary and pitch materials for clients, analyzed pricing and risk metrics, and observed live trade execution in fast-moving markets. Through desk rotations and shadowing, I developed a deeper understanding of how traders manage risk, how sales teams tailor strategies to clients, and how market structure and liquidity affect execution. I also gained an understanding of how desks interact across assets and coding has become an integral part.
