About Anna Sarkissian
I graduated USC School of Pharmacy as a dual-degree student with a Pharmacy Doctorate and Global Medicine Masters. The masters degree in Global Medicine allows me to expand on healthcare in a more \"global\" aspect, learning about diseases and health management in the US and in other countries. With an emphasis in interprofessionalism, I learn to better serve patients by working in a team environment with other health professionals depending on the patients\' needs.I am now a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. Through my many experiences during my time at UC-Irvine and USC, I have learned how to excel in a field that is heavily based on communication and teamwork. My goal in life is to become an effective pharmacist. In order to achieve this goal, I am always looking for new opportunities to gain experience and exposure to different areas of pharmacy.
