Being an educator, one of the things you try to teach in your classroom is having a growth mindset. A growth mindset is a way of looking at challenges as an opportunity to grow and build one’s abilities. To do that effectively, you can’t just “teach” it but you have to embody it. As long as I can remember, when faced with any challenges, I have somehow overcome them with my ambition, the resources and support around me.I am a highly motivated and versatile professional eager to take on new challenges and opportunities!With a diverse background in education and behavioral health, I am eager to apply my unique blend of skills and expertise to a new challenge. My experiences as an Elementary Teacher, Student Teacher, Behavioral Health Technician, Intern at a non-profit, and Camp Coordinator have provided me with a well-rounded skill set, which I am eager to apply to my next role. I possess a strong ability to collaborate, develop effective strategies/materials, and cultivate positive relationships with students, clients, and team members.As a former Recruitment Chair, Banquet Chair, and Fundraising Chair for Kappa Phi Lambda Drexel Associate Chapter, I have honed my skills in project planning and execution, budget management, and interpersonal communication. My accomplishments include reducing expenses on materials by 30%, training 30 sorority members, and raising through various fundraisers. I am confident in my ability to coordinate with multiple parties, negotiate pricing, and devise event itineraries to ensure successful outcomes.I am a creative problem solver and an excellent communicator, with a proven track record of delivering results. My experience in developing personalized lesson plans and educational resources, as well as my ability to bridge learning gaps across the needs of students, make me an asset to any team. My success in managing and supervising staff, as well as my experience in event coordination and fundraising, highlight my leadership and organizational skills.
