Looking forward to another year of being an active part of the University of Northampton community. It is an exciting year, as we progress towards the mature stage of a “blended” approach to learning, with students firmly at the centre of the learning journey and making the most of students’ and lecturers’ time. Enabling Financial Accounting to move from the historical “soaking up knowledge” by just attending a lecture, to active participation in the learning journey. It is my aim to facilitate students to ask more questions, rekindle learning curiosity and discover career opportunities by working on problems and mini projects in a safe environment. Keen to enable students to tap into their existing knowledge and skills whilst exploring how to utilise professional IT platforms and information sources.
