ABOUT ANNA O.

I am a law student with a brief background of studying economics, I have now decided to focus on developing a career in Human Rights or Environmental law. Growing up in Hong Kong and Thailand before attending boarding school here in the U.K. has shaped my passion for learning about different cultures and travelling.During my gap year, I interned with a marine life conservation organisation, where I conducted physical exams and worked in high pressure environments, developing strong communication skills, risk assessment, and rapid problem solving skills. My teamwork skills were also strengthened through rugby and CCF training at school, where I learned leadership, discipline, and rapid adaptability.Beyond academics, I enjoy strategic and narrative driven games like Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer, which have shaped my critical thinking, long term planning, and conflict resolution skills. These games require a lot of teamwork, creativity, and ability to anticipate challenges. Some very valuable traits which I apply to both my legal studies and personal growth.Outside of law, I have a passion for - Building Lego, marine life, art, cooking, rugby, current affairs, strategic gaming, writing and photography, which all allow me to express creativity and attention to detail in different ways :)
