ABOUT ANNA MARSHALL
Welcome! I\'m Anna Marshall and I work under the label Anna Salto Art as an illustrator in the fields of editorial illustration, branding illustration and art. In my illustrations I celebrate richness of color, analog textures as well as an elegant stroke. The figure is at the center of my works. My areas of interest include topics such as psychology, philosophy, culture, social discourse, politics and science, as well as health and mindfulness. I am also an illustrator and author of children\'s books. I completed my studies at the Münster University of Applied Sciences for Design, graduating in 2006 with a diploma in illustration. Since then I have been working as a freelance illustrator in Karlsruhe. Awards and exhibitions: in 2011 my picture book \"Oma und die 99 Schmetterlinge\" was awarded the Meefisch Illustration Prize of the city of Marktheidenfeld. A prize for the best unpublished picture book in the German-speaking world. In the summer of 2022, I participated in the exhibition of selected projects as part of the Hamburg Picture Book Award. Published by me in 2023:\"Kalle und Meister Klingbiel oder wie klingt Freundschaft\", Tulipan Verlag and \"Wolkenknopf\", Südpol Verlag.
