ABOUT ANNA MARIA TEJADA

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Anna Maria defends management in labor and employment litigation nationwide. Ms. Tejada advises businesses, corporations, public entities, and nonprofits on employment-related matters affecting their operations, including recruitment, employee discipline and discharge, accommodations to leaves of absence, wage and hour, workforce reductions, whistleblower claims, and disability, harassment and discrimination claims. Ms. Tejada counsels clients on compliance with state and federal employment and labor laws and regulations to help them assess how they can limit their liability and exposure to claims. She conducts employment-related investigations; develops training manuals, employment handbooks and corporate policies; and trains managers, supervisors and employees on compliance and enforcement.
