About Anna M. Mudroch

Anna Mudroch is the Associate Director of Bands at Lockport Township High School, a post she held previously from 20••••12. Ms. Mudroch has also served as Director of Bands and Department Chair at Batavia High School as well as a Fine Arts Administrator and Instructional Coach in Arizona. Her duties include conducting the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Freshman Band and assisting the Marching Porters, Jazz Band and Pep Band. Prior to teaching, Ms. Mudroch received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and a Master of Educational Leadership from Concordia University. During her time at the University of Illinois, she performed in the Wind Symphony under the direction of James F. Keene, the Symphony Orchestra under Donald Schleicher and studied flute with Dr. Jonathan Keeble. Ms. Mudroch\'s ensembles have earned consistent Superior ratings at contests and festivals and have performed at prestigious concert halls such as The Symphony Center in Chicago, the Dallas Meyerson Hall and Carnegie Hall. In addition to acting as a guest clinician and woodwind specialist to several area schools, she has enjoyed presenting at the Illinois Music Educators Conference and the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic to name a few. Ms. Mudroch is an active performer and enjoys maintaining a private flute studio. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking and hiking with her rescue puppy Dizzy.
