ABOUT ANNA M.
Anna obtained her Bachelors in Architecture and Environmental Design from Sheffield Hallam University, and later her Masters in Architecture part-time, combining study and practice. Anna enjoys socio-political theory and spatial design, and was awarded the 2017 Ibstock prize for Research and Analysis for her feminist writing on the history of the design of the kitchen. Her thesis project, Cirque Du Shieldfield: A Commons Based Civic Movement, explored an alternative method for neighbourhood regeneration, utilising existing talents for the benefit of the community (nominated for the Silver Presidents Medal 2019, and winner of the 6th year prize for best portfolio).In her spare time, she enjoys live music, yoga, chocolate, and has even illustrated a children’s book.
