ABOUT ANNA LILLY FITZPATRICK
I am a recent University of Michigan Sociology & Social Work and Psychology Grad. Currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Sport Social Work and High Performance Coaching at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. I am a passionate advocate for using the power of social work and psychology to create positive change, especially in the dynamic world of sports and for youth, college-aged, and professional athletes; working to combat stereotypes, and help with eating disorders, mental health, and grief awareness. Throughout my undergraduate years, I delved deep into the intersections of sociology, social work, and psychology, developing a robust understanding of human behavior and societal systems. I am proficient in leveraging evidence-based practices, counseling techniques, and advocacy skills to address the unique challenges within the sports industry.I am eager to apply my diverse academic background and hands-on experience to empower athletes, coaches, and sports organizations to thrive both on and off the field. I am planning to pursue clinical-based practice and with both youth and professional athletes in the fall of 2025.
