About Anna Kuzmic
I want to help people live better lives. This motivated me to earn a BA in Public Policy from William & Mary with a focus on social policy to support educational stakeholders and nonprofits. I have experience working directly in educational settings, policy research, and mentorship roles. I am eager to continue engaging with people to implement effective policy that empowers others and creates equitable opportunities.I am currently a Senior Research Analyst on the Nonprofit & Public Agencies Practice at McAllister & Quinn. In this role, I co-manage clients and identify grant opportunities that align with clients\' needs. Our team serves a variety of nonprofits, including museums, zoos, family services, mental health services, educational organizations, healthcare, and technology-focused nonprofits. I also research foundations and provide support for our government relations team.I am a founding member and an advisor at Torch Leadership Academy, a nonprofit that provides a 4-day transformative leadership program to high school students across New Jersey at no cost to students. Students learn about ethical leadership, develop their leadership style, and practice collaboration and empathetic communication through hands-on learning experiences. Our staff is 100% volunteer. I have been a volunteer supporting youth leadership development since 2016. As the previous Support Counselor Coordinator, I oversaw approximately 20 students in their first year on staff as support counselors, conducted 4 full-day trainings, and directed communication over the year leading up to our 4-day annual summer program.
