About Anna Kate Harvey
I am a marketing major on the professional sales track at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. I enjoy learning and goal-driven environments where I can strengthen my creative problem-solving, communication, product marketing, and customer engagement skills.As a member of the Professional Sales Club, I’ve gained hands-on experience and mentorship in sales operations, brand strategy, cold calling, and live role-plays. This spring, I will also be participating in a ticket sales program through the club, where I’ll gain real-world experience selling and engaging with customers in a live sales setting. My experiences as a sales associate at American Girl, and a team member at Chick-Fil-A, have taught me how to thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, and solve problems creatively and efficiently. Additionally, my experience nannying for an individual with special needs taught me immense patience and how to stay calm, empathetic, and solutions-oriented in challenging situations.This summer, I look forward to being a Sales Representative Intern at Scotlynn in Fort Myers where I will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside an amazing team, strengthen essential skills, and develop hands-on experience in professional sales.
