Assistant to Chief Executive Officer @Living Cities

Living Cities is a collaborative of 19 of the world’s largest foundations and financial institutions working to close racial income and wealth gaps in American cities. Living Cities uses its vast network to connect with leaders across the public, private and philanthropic sectors to embed anti-racist policies and practices in institutions. Together, they work to tackle the root causes of systemic inequity in U.S. cities and undo the legacy of racism in our communities. In my role I develop and implement administrative support function for the Chief Executive and Chief Impact Officers of a dynamic philanthropic intermediary aiming to close the racial wealth gap in American Cities. • Board Relations: Design and deliver six board meetings a year. Assist the CEO and CIO in developing the agendas, materials, and program for each meeting. Design dinners and experiences that connect our board members and executive leadership team. Communicate with stakeholders regarding each meeting to ensure successful delivery • Special Projects: Undertake special projects on behalf of the CEO such as organizing a Southern Economic Equity convening in Memphis, TN, at the National Civil Rights Museum. This event included twenty stakeholders in the philanthropic community in the South and addressed new approaches to economic equity. • Strategic Implementer; Manage and implement administrative and strategic initiatives such as creating calendar management best practices, improving current administrative operations, building relationships with all employees, and partnering with senior leaders on priorities that align with strategic objectives.
