About Anna Grace Klatt
I am a Doctor of Optometry candidate at the Southern College of Optometry (Class of 2027) with a passion for patient-centered care and a strong interest in developmental/functional optometry and vision therapy. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Keystone College with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. My undergraduate experience included roles as a peer tutor, resident assistant, president of Colleges Against Cancer, and involvement in many other organizations. These experiences shaped my commitment to service, leadership, and meaningful impact. Currently, as an optometric intern at The Eye Center at SCO, I perform comprehensive eye examinations and manage patient care. I also assist patients with binocular vision and visual processing disorders through personalized vision therapy programs. These experiences have reinforced my goal of pursuing residency training in pediatrics/vision therapy to further refine my clinical skills and strengthen my competence as a clinician. I am driven by the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships and improve quality of life through vision, and I look forward to continuing to grow as both a clinician and advocate within the profession.
