ABOUT ANNA GORMEZANO

Artist & Creative Consultant and Producer based in Edinburgh, ScotlandI am passionate about encouraging independent thinking, supporting artists and entrepreneurs to develop their practice and make a fair and purposeful success of their work. FromNow.studio is a freelance creative practice and consultancy studioTo date I’ve worked on projects under contract and independently with an online and in-person student, creative and business communities, supporting artists, entrepreneurs and third sector programmes. This has involved; hybrid community and programme design, practice development, business consultancy, 121 mentoring and creative cultivation sessions, creating resources, facilitation of mentor training and tailored creative development workshops.Find out more : FromNow.studioAdvocating for creative freelancers and emerging artists; I am currently a member of the Visual Arts Scotland Council, sharing experience and expertise in community, membership and practice development, career pathways, GDPR, data collection and programme accessibility. As a multidisciplinary Artist, my practice is ongoing, riding out the same challenges affecting working creatives in the here and now. I’m working towards sharing more on my personal experiences of this.
