My primary mandate is to ensure every designer is aligned with their purpose and growing, which I achieve through structured coaching and continuous feedback.• I am directly responsible for the development and training of the team, managing performance through continuous feedback, and ensuring the well-being and empowerment of every designer.• I drive talent growth by developing professional growth plans, maintaining up-to-date competency mapping, and providing dedicated, structured support.• I conduct periodic 1:1 coaching sessions with every unit member to monitor professional growth and personal well-being.• I provide operational supervision for the unit, enhancing our design processes, tools, and methodologies to improve how we deliver value.• I oversee the allocation of designers to projects in collaboration with Business Operations, balancing project priorities with individual skills and growth objectives.• I ensure the reliable supply of design professionals to production, monitoring metrics such as adherence to estimates and the successful delivery of stories within established timelines.• I facilitate transparent communication between management and the team, ensuring strategic alignment and clarity of purpose.
