ABOUT ANNA GARDE-EVANS

I am an experienced contentious probate specialist. I am a full member of ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists) and a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). I also hold the STEP advanced certificate in trust disputes where I obtained a distinction.I act for all types of clients including claimants, defendants, charities, trustees, executors and beneficiaries for all types of contentious probate matters. My expertise ranges from contesting the validity of a will, claims against an estate where no reasonable financial provision has been left in the will, or under the intestacy rules, challenging lifetime gifts, failures by executors/trustees in their duties (including applications seeking their removal) and trust disputes. I advise clients across England and Wales, and have represented clients based abroad including America and Australia. I am also an editor for Certainty.co.uk, which is the Law Society’s endorsed provider of a national will register and will search service, where I have written a number of informative articles and present webinars.My specialist and professional skills extend to applications to claims relating to trusts of land including co-ownership property disputes (both residential and commercial property).
