ABOUT ANNA FRANGOU
Scientific communications specialist with proven excellence in broadening the visibility of science and scientific products in academic, commercial, and public spaces. Having built and executed communication strategies for pharmaceutical and biotech companies as a cancer specialist, I now lead the communications strategy for a Director of a Max Planck Institute (MPI-CBG) and the Center for Systems Biology Dresden (CSBD), with the mission of bringing the newly-founded mathematics center into biology. Originally a cancer genomics research scientist with several top tier publications. I am an interdisciplinarian who believes the future of science lies in the spaces between traditionally defined fields - where concepts overlap, where we approach data in completely new ways, and where we centre the question over the discipline.Let\'s deliberately keep our readings interdisciplinary. That\'s what challenges the mind. Cognitive mobility. Let\'s be intellectual nomads and refuse to settle down- Elif Şafak
