About Anna Frances Reyes

Hi! I’m Anna Reyes, a senior at San Jose State University majoring in Kinesiology with a specialization in Inclusive Physical Activity in Communities (IPAC). I’m passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports and inclusive recreation.Living with Lupus has shaped my passion for inclusive spaces. I began as a competitive swimmer, but after my diagnosis at twelve and seeing my dad’s stroke recovery, I knew I wanted to become an occupational therapist. My goal is to earn a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) after undergrad.At SJSU, I’ve helped lead adapted aquatics and inclusive fitness labs, work with individuals of all abilities, and volunteer at events like wheelchair basketball and adapted table tennis. I’ve also served as Vice President of Inclusion for my sorority, Vice President of the Pre-OT Club, and a mentor through CAPISE.I believe disability should never limit someone’s ability to enjoy movement, and I love helping others discover what they’re capable of through inclusive, empowering experiences!
