ABOUT ANNA FEHRENBACH

In order to understand better how our fascinating brain works I have studied Cognitive Science with a specification in Neuroscience. After a couple of years in research I wanted to explore the industry. So, I joined a couple of friends and founded the edtech startup PearUp with them. We provided teachers and students with an educational platform that enables an optimal learning and teaching experience. With PearUp teachers can easily create interactive teaching materials and adapt them to their own needs. I loved our journey as I was able to make an impact in the education of new generations and to show how digitalization can support teachers so they have more time for their students. In the startup I was responsible for UX and marketing. In October 2022 we merged with eduki. With eduki (formerly known as Lehrermarktplatz) teachers can share their thoroughly created, tried and tested teaching material – for free or for a fair expense allowance, helping other teachers to save time and profit from the experience and work of their colleagues. With the integration of PearUp teachers can now also create and share interactive materials. We are super excited to develop our products together from now, and to join eduki’s mission to empower teachers to deliver the best school education.
