About Anna Dowell

I have been fortunate to work as a fundraising professional in the nonprofit sector, which began working to increase resources to end women’s homelessness in Chicago. After a move back home to Springfield, Missouri to be nearer to family, I pivoted my focus toward ensuring a healthy environment for both people and the planet. My vision of the future is one where everyone has a home. Everyone can get care when they are sick. Where people don’t have to worry whether they are breathing clean air, drinking clean water, or eating food that was grown in polluted soil. Most recently, I have taken a role to inspire and encourage philanthropy in the Ozarks to enhance the quality of life in our region.When not working, I enjoy these hobbies:Hiking with my husband and young sonReadingListening to podcasts/music while cleaningCamping and FishingMaking lists
