ABOUT ANNA DEACON
Third year Textile design student,specialising in Print at Nottingham Trent University. I have a passion for fashion and particularly designing prints that can be used on garments, experimenting with different techniques and having a particular interest in creating repeat patterns on Photoshop, and I would love to pursue a career within this industry. I have always been interested in the Art and Fashion industry and how things are made, particularly as I have done a course with Debbie Wingham where she demonstrated her fashion and clothing that she had designed and produced, we had to create our own piece of clothing made out of recycling and then present it on a catwalk in response to her and my work got chosen by her to be presented at her own private high-end fashion show with top photographers and fashion designers and that really began to inspire me. I also had my work experience in M&S design headquarters in London where I had to work alongside the children\'s clothing designers and I got an insight into how they use Photoshop to come up with and create a design garment, I also got to experience clothing that had been designed and sent off to be made in India, and get brought back into the design area to see if any of it needed to be adapted. This experience gave me a real insight into how the industry works and how many different aspects and how many people are actually involved. instagram :@annadeacon.textiles etsy
