Main duties and responsibilities:Take lead responsibility for the service delivery, day-to-day operations and business activities.Lead development of service delivery in line with contractual requirements.Supervision/performance management of staff team of support workers, therapist, CYP support workers and admin staff.Recruitment of staff and trustees.Establish and maintain effective monitoring systems to ensure the service remains in line with Family Help’s policies, quality assurance, contractual, statutory and grant requirements.Attend board meetings and prepare reports/statistics to present to the Board. Implement, monitor and review Family Help policies and procedures. Complete risk assessments where necessary.Assume role of Deputy Safeguarding Lead.Develop and deliver ambitious 5-year strategic plan.Attend and contribute to various meetings as required such as commissioning reviews, safeguarding partnerships, multi-agency meetings.Regular engagement with service-users, supporters and stakeholders.Proactively promote the aims and objectives of Family Help through marketing, fundraising and community engagement.Where required, take on support worker responsibilities such as fielding helpline calls, applying for personal grants, submit and monitor housing applications and other financial and legal matters.Ensure accounting systems are properly kept up-to-date.Contribute to preparation of budgets, tenders and funding applications.Ensure all incomes, rents, donations, fundraising monies received are processed correctly.Ensure appropriate insurances, licences and accreditations are in place.
