Anna Cattee is a solicitor, notary public and a co-founder of CMP Legal heading up the Company and Commercial Department. She is also the Money Laundering Officer (MLRO) for the firm.Anna Cattee qualified as a solicitor in 2011, having previously completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School with a distinction.Anna advises a whole range of businesses. Dealing in mergers and business acquisitions, corporate restructuring, shareholder agreements, terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, distribution agreements and a whole range of all general corporate and commercial matters and contracts. Anna has represented local start-ups through to national, multi million pound turnover companies. She is praised by clients for her ability to turn “legal jargon into something they can actually understand”. She is pragmatic and understands that clients need commercially sensible advice.Further specialist areas of law, include advising companies in the healthcare sector and non-contentious construction law.Her work in the healthcare sector spans many areas. She routinely works with GP Practices, deals with pharmacy and domiciliary care businesses and has a specific specialism in the buying and selling of dental practices.As a notary public, she deals with the execution of legal documents and verifying identity for use abroad for both companies and individuals. Anna is appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and regulated by the Faculty Office in her position as a notary.Outside of work, Anna Cattee enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, travelling and skiing.
