Establishes strategic direction for the program function and oversees program design and implementation to ensure achievement of annual goals. Ensures collaboration and alignment with other internal departments and advocates for support from community partners. • Steward and cultivate strategic partnerships to bring in outside resources to deliver workshops, activities, and other sessions for program enhancements, as well as program funding.• Manages systems to ensure successful performance measures and metrics, match length and that mentor, mentee and family satisfaction are met.• Provides coaching and training to ensure that the Community Based team members demonstrate the ability to apply social work competencies of strength-based and culturally competent assessment, planning, referral and linkage - and crisis intervention to ensure that potential problems and barriers are identified and addressed as early as possible.• Ensures program staff uses a high-level proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of job function. Identify child safety issues for volunteers, children and their families. • Oversees and improves strategic interventions to identify and strengthen match relationships that require crisis intervention as well as challenging areas of the program.• Subject matter expert for Justice Equity Diversity Inclusion (JEDI) related policies and practices• Youth Empower Alliance committee member and Youth Advisory Council facilitator
