ABOUT ANNA BRUCE
Throughout my 8+ years in social impact related work, l\'ve seen first hand the imperative need for community based services, corporate social responsibility, and international policy change. The strong abilities and skills l\'ve developed and honed through my global experiences have set me up to succeed in policy and strategy focused roles. It is my utmost priority to ensure that the voices, experiences, and needs of diverse groups and individuals lead policy and strategy development through transformative approaches to implementation, evaluation and monitoring.During my Masters in Global Affairs, I concentrated in gender equality in development and wrote a thesis on the use of Syndemic theory and the theory of intersectionality to advance the understanding of the increase in rates of gender-based violence resulting from climate change-related natural disasters. Constantly inspired and fuelled by others, I thrive in collaborative environments while also valuing time to focus on individual work. I am action-oriented, a critical thinker, and I respond well under pressure. I have a proven record of establishing consensus, achieving results, and employing innovative approaches to identifying, building, and strengthening key relationships.
