ABOUT ANNA BOGDAN
Hi! I’m Anna, a passionate pre-dental student and fourth-year student in the McGill Biomedical program, majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience. I’m fascinated by how brain physiology and behaviour influence health outcomes, and I’m especially interested in applying this knowledge to patient-centered dental care.Through actively engaging in research within the Sheldon Memory Lab and the Bartz Lab at McGill, volunteering to teach children with special needs how to swim, dedicating time at the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness, and shadowing dental practices, I’m deeply immersed in psychology and healthcare. These experiences have strengthened my passion for patient-centered care, prevention, and effective communicationBeyond academics, I thrive as a swim instructor, guiding children to build confidence in the water while developing strong technique. I have also loved playing the trumpet since grade 7 and have held principal positions in ensembles such as the Conference of Independent Schools Music Festival.Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue dentistry, where I can combine my interests in neuroscience, prevention, and patient education with clinical precision and empathy to make a meaningful impact.
