Since the summer of 2025, I have been working with The Indigo Road Hospitality Group at The Kingstide on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. It has been an incredible experience learning the ins and outs of food and beverage within a well-known and highly successful hospitality group.At The Kingstide, I serve as a food runner, delivering high-end service by presenting dishes to tables and assisting servers during peak hours. I also work as a server assistant, supporting front-of-house operations through table setup, clearing, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.In addition to The Kingstide, I have also been helping out at Oak Steakhouse in downtown Charleston, one of Indigo Road’s flagship restaurants. Working between both locations has allowed me to gain valuable experience across different restaurant styles while continuing to grow within the company.
