ABOUT ANNA ALVARADO-PEARCE

Anna M. Alvarado-Pearce is Chief Legal Officer* and Corporate Secretary at Texas Capital. She is responsible for supervising and coordinating all legal services for the firm, serving as key legal advisor to the Board of Directors and as a liaison with regulators, ensuring legal compliance with all securities laws and banking regulations, serving as lead legal advisor on all commercial and transactional matters, advising the bank on litigation risks and more. Anna joined Texas Capital in October 2021. She brings to her role more than 18 years of broad-based experience in leading business and legal advisory services, including in scalability, expansion and integration. Previously, Anna served as the global general counsel for FirstCash, Inc, a consumer financial services and retail company and the leading international operator of retail pawn stores. In this role, Anna oversaw an international team of more than 50 people and led several important initiatives, including the company’s Latin American expansion and several domestic acquisitions. Prior, she served as an attorney at Texas-based firms Tanner & Associates PC and Hill Gilstrap PC. Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Bentley University in Massachusetts. She earned a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. She was a 2024 Association of Corporate Counsel and Texas Lawbook General Counsel of the Year recipient and a 2025 D CEO Magazine Legal Team of the Year and 2023 D CEO Magazine Corporate Counsel Award recipient. She was voted Top Corporate Attorney in 2017 and 2018 by Fort Worth Magazine.
