About Anna Adl

With extensive experience as an educator, I have refined my skills over many years. My career began with nearly a decade in special education before transitioning to the role of educational diagnostician. In this position, I developed expertise in the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction\'s special education criteria for various disabilities. Subsequently, I took on the role of a special education program support teacher, where I have been instrumental in assisting special educators, principals, paraeducators, and general education teachers in addressing challenges to effectively support students with diagnosed disabilities. In addition, I served as the Induction Coordinator for nearly 10 years, where I planned, implemented, and oversaw our new teacher programs. This role included managing new teacher orientation, the mentoring program, and meetings for new teachers. I gained in-depth knowledge of unique licensure areas, such as the Experience-Based Teacher License, which involves creating and implementing a comprehensive three-year curriculum for individuals with significant field experience in areas like business, technology, and culinary arts but without formal teaching experience or education. As an advocate for all new educators, I supported their professional growth and development.Recently, I have held positions as an Early Childhood Inclusion Coordinator and then as a K4 Coordinator. In these roles, I utilized data-driven decision-making and formative tools like the Inclusive Classroom Profile and Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool to coach educators working with our youngest students. This experience has established me as an internal coach for the Pyramid Model. Additionally, I earned a leadership certificate from the University of Colorado Denver, focusing on the complexities of cross-system work to support early learners. As an aspiring Pyramid Model trainer, I am also a member of the Wisconsin Registry, having met the requirements for level sixteen. This qualification makes me preliminarily eligible for roles such as center director, provisional certified child care provider, school-age director, school-age program leader, or teacher.
