ABOUT ANN YORK
Ann is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist with over 25 years’ clinical experience in NHS specialist Children and Young People’s Mental Health. She has extensive experience of quality improvement in the mental health system for children and young people, both nationally and internationally. Ann has held senior national and regional leadership roles in NHS England and NHS Improvement, the Care Quality Commission and Department of Health (now Department of Health and Social Care). These roles have involved close working relationships with HEE and Public Health England. Young people’s participation: involved experts by experience in an NHSE national working group and co-chaired with a young person- the first time this had occurred extensive experience as clinical lead at University of Exeter Trainer: wide ranging experience and settings: iThrive, CASCADE, Schools Link, Leadership, service development Quality Improvement: • Extensive experience from leading change: in her clinical team, peer review, accreditation, inspection and regulation.
