Friends and family call it my growth mindset. I consider it my unique ability to welcome obstacles as opportunities for discovering my full potential. At 16 years old, I survived a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and had to re-learn how to learn. It was an experience of pain and discovery to which I attribute my intrinsic empathy for the needs of others. Curiosity, communication, and empathy. Together, these qualities in my 15+ years in UX have made me successful in:• UX Research and translating actionable insights into meaningful experiences employing qualitative and quantitative methods• UX Content Strategy and connecting the pieces that work together to deliver a holistic message across all touch points of the customer experience• UX writing and guiding users through interactions without noticing the words• Instructional Design and developing storyboards, video tutorials, and scripts to convey key concepts• UX Strategy and planning and approaching the blend of vision, capabilities, and needs from a holistic viewpointAs a UX hybrid of all these roles, I don\'t self-identify as a generalist or a specialist, but as an advocate for the end user. I obsess over fixing experiences to make people\'s lives easier.
